Today's project. Figured maple frustration's 🤣 🤦♂️ the tearout on this piece is almost unbelievable to fix. Even with a brand new carbide tip! Speaking of carbide, I also lost roughly an inch in diameter due to a HSS gouge not playing nice.. It could have been the operator, and uh, not touching that gouge for a few months while only using carbide.. maybe.. But we're blaming the tools today regardless! I'll revisit this piece on friday..
