Hunting with no choke?
Post Body

Hello first time turkey hunter here. I have an older Browning A5 that I use for ducks, but I wanted to try my hand at turkeys this year. The thing is, it has no choke, or threads to add one. AND it only shoots 2 3/4 shells. Would anyone use this thing for turkeys? Is it worth a shot or should I just look into buying a new gun? Works fine for ducks at 30yards but I assume it would be different with turkeys.

Comments

I’d pattern it and see what you come up with at 30 yards. No reason to think it wouldn’t work in my mind.
