Because people still think there's nothing to do in Tulsa...
Post Body

I hear all the time that people think Tulsa sucks because there's nothing to do here, so I've decided to call on the power of (sub)Reddit!

What do you, fellow Redditors, have a blast doing in Tulsa? I'm looking for regular activities and events. For example:

  • Trivia at the Soundpony bar every Tuesday (21 )
  • Free token night at Max's Retropub on Tuesday nights (just ask the bartenders for tokens) (21 )

There's already another post here for restaurants, so I want to avoid that except in the case of stuff where it's more an event than a simple "where to get some good food" type of thing. For example:

  • Every other Thursday is Luchador Night at Elote (21 )
  • Wednesday after 4pm is $2 gelatto nights at Mod's Coffee and Crepes, $2 puffy tacos at Elote, and $3 burger night at McNellie's

I have a pretty great and interesting time in Tulsa. Let's see if we can't give everyone here a reason to love it a little more.

Edit: Added 21 tags

Edit: My non-authoritative list of ideas I've liked:

  • Assimilation at the Marquee. Last Saturday of the month, Goth/Industrial dance party downtown.
  • Cherry Street Farmer's Market, every Saturday from now until October 22nd, 7am to 11am.
