Outing for limited mobility person

Post Body
What's a good outing for someone who cannot walk very far? My partner is recovering from hernia surgery and our usual options are not available to us.
Museums are out, we've got dinner covered, and I'm looking for active engagement, not movies or shows. Thoughts?

There is a pottery painting place on Sheridan and 91st that might be a good spot for that. There are also paint and sips around the city.
