Post Body

I posted earlier on here about 5 weeks ago after I experienced a full term stillbirth (39 1 weeks) with my firstborn daughter. I just want to go ahead and thank whoever read and replied. The advice was so welcomed and useful! Now that tomorrow will be my 6-week PP appointment, I'm here to ask questions and get more advice. I haven't really seen too many posts about this topic, so I hope that this isn't a repetitive question.

After much consideration, my DH and I both feel that we won't truly be more than okay until we have a baby in our arms to actively parent. No one will ever replace our Mari, but we feel that having her siblings will help us heal the ache in our arms. We talked to my midwife at my 2-week PP appointment and she recommended that we wait at least 2 cycles before we actively TTC. Until then, use condoms, track your ovulation (especially since I haven't knowingly started my period yet), etc. This isn't just for dating purposes, but she wanted my lining to build back up to normal to prevent further loss that could deepen my grief.

My question: Let's say that our condom breaks one day and I take a Plan B thinking all is well, but I'm ovulating and we accidently conceive before our cycle wait is up. Has anyone here experienced this and have gone on to have healthy pregnancies/births? Or should I prepare myself to experience another loss?
