Can someone explain to me what a new TSO starts at? What band? Is it “F” band, Step 1? In addition, do you get locality pay on top of that?

For example: if I live in Sacramento County in California, should I be adding 28.3% locality pay to the $49,028 that a “F” band, Step 1 makes?

I’ve cleared all background and stuff, I’m just waiting for an opening to receive an offer. Im trying to weigh options financially (without taking into consideration the additional retirement benefits).
