The “different” paradox

Post Body

I’ve noticed a paradox within many different communities and just society in general. Those who are “normal” want so bad to be different, but those who are actually “different” want so bad to be accepted and more “normal.” I’m not trans but I think this very much applies to the community, often people who aren’t actually trans seem to glorify it and promote it while those who actually are just want to live a normal life and wouldn’t wish the process on anyone. I wonder what this comes from or how it could be solved. I guess more positivity when it comes to accepting yourself as who and what you are is the only solution I can think of. You don’t have to be a certain way to please other people as long as you are content in yourself.
