this happened a couple months ago and it still makes my dick invert from the memory. went food shopping at hannafords and when checking out this very obvious afab trender (you know what im talking about. pixie cut with shitty hair dye job, jewelry, “punk” clothes, pride buttons on lanyard, etc.) is scanning my food then randomly says “what are your pronouns??” and im kinda on autopilot, and instead of saying something snarky just go “he him.” but the thing that bothers me is im as stealth as possible. wear athletic masculine clothes, have athletic-ish build, facial hair, short undyed hair, deep voice, no piercings. i have some selfies on my profile if interested. literally nothing is clockable accept for the fact im short. KILLS me when people who i know im never gonna interact with again ask for my pronouns as a “omg ur trans im trans too!!! so relatable” type beat. like stop. i look cis, act cis, let me have this. i don’t wanna be known as a trans guy, i want to be known as a normal man. After she asks for my pronouns, she continues to list off her pronouns (without me asking) and like half were some xeno shit i didn’t even understand. big reason why i am stealth, i don’t wanna be associated with this qUiRky crowd of people. i just wanna exist without being clocked. anyone else have any gross experiences with tucute strangers?
