i feel like this has been brought up before here, but im just so fucking sick of them. every single piece of media i enjoy has some tucute claiming that the main character (or some other character) is trans. and it is always with MALE main characters, it feels so ridiculously fetishy and i hate it. maybe if it wasn't so rampant, and their claims made sense then i wouldn't be upset about it. but it's such a pain, and it feels like they're claiming that characters within a piece of media just for the trend/'representation'. if you're going to 'represent' us, do it subtly for fucks sakes, don't throw it in people's faces, and don't use pre-existing, obviously not trans male characters to do so.

(side note: apologies if this reads super incoherently, it's just that this kind of shit irks me so much. if anyone's confused i'll try my best to elaborate)
