Can we all agree that gender dysphoria has been completely disregarded and disrespected? Especially body dysphoria?
After years of being told you don’t need dysphoria to be trans only “euphoria” (which I don’t think I ever experienced as a transsexual even after transition) and that pronouns don’t matter, gender is an expression and concept and not real. It’s finally getting the consequences that those that are older have been warning against.
There’s a lot of people who have heard about what being trans is but don’t know what dysphoria it which makes their definition of what trans is almost completely wrong most of the time anyway.
I started posting videos online talking about my experience with dysphoria especially body dysphoria both before and after transitioning. I was hoping to reach people who have similar experiences to me who can relate. Majority of people who has responded are either those that say that now they can understand why medical transition is important or they’re the ones calling me transphobic.
I appreciate the first group but I loathe the second.
