How useful is the Solemn Vow in 6v6?

I don't know how many Medic's use this, but I think that this weapon seems like it could be extremely useful in knowing when to push and when to hold back. but even still, Medic's tend to use the Ãœbersaw even when it has a lower damage output than the Solemn Vow. But what does everybody else see in this weapon?
