I'll try and describe this as best as I'm able. I have a Google Pixel 3a and have recently updated to Android 10. Previously, when playing Spotify, what was playing showed up on the lock screen in the notification bar and would stay there until you manually cleared it away. Meaning I had the ability to pause, skip and repeat tracks at will simply by double tapping on the screen to open the lock screen. No fuss, no muss.
Since updating, as soon as I pause a track and leave it for more than a few seconds, the Spotify notification bar (or whatever it is) immediately disappears meaning I have to unlock my phone and re-open Spotify to continue playing a track. Every. Single. Time. Sometimes, Spotify just shuts completely. This is especially irritating in the car. Actually, it's annoying everywhere - I have kids and pause, skip, replay stuff A LOT.
Any ideas? Many thanks.
