Post Body

Hi everyone,

Im extremely frustrated that I cant even set up an easy SMB share in truenas scale. I followed tutorials, tried everything out myself, but for the life of me i cannot figure it out. The user i use in windows has access in the share as well as filesystem ACL, I still get an error every single time. Sometimes I can go a single folder deep, even though I have apply permissions recursively on every time. Idk if its not saving, but every time I go back into the settings its unchecked again. Ive been a windows admin for years and so far only worked with NAS systems like synology and QNAP which are very easy, so I expected something simple like an SMB share to be possible, but I simply cannot do it. I tried everything for about 2 hours now, no change. Please, someone somehow help me out i cant anymore. I attached images from my permission settings
