Reading Chris Suellentrop's review of GTA5 today, this line got me thinking:
For all that the game does right, it has a genuinely problematic aspect that is not its enthusiasm for violence or sex but its lack of interest in women as something other than lustful airheads...
I made the point in the /r/games thread discussing the article that I don't really mind the lack of strong female character in the series, given its "summer blockbuster" style, but it still brings up a good point: What would be the proper way for Rockstar to use a major female character in a future game?
To expand further (and as a TL;DR), imagine you were the creative lead behind the new GTA VI and you were tasked with making the player character (or like in GTA V, one or more of three player characters) female. How do you approach it? What type of person is she? What are her motivations?
