Firstly, i'm a 42 year old male living in a Western Country that does almost everything they can not to prescribe TRT to men. If you are even 1 point above the lower baseline you are "within normal range" and regardless of symptoms they will not prescribe to you.
So I noticed about 3 years back the following symptoms:
- Increase belly weight gain
- Increased tiredness and the feeling of running out of energy around 3.30pm
-Rising blood pressure to around 135/85-90
- Brain Fog and the feeling of not being sharp
- Lower libido
- No desire or drive to do anything at all
- Increased Anxiety
So at the time I just put it down to aging but it was really impacting my desire to get out of bed and go and do stuff or complete important projects.
I went to the doctor for some checks and was told basically to exercise more and that it was a normal part of aging. After doing some research I asked to have my Testosterone levels checked and after some arguing got the results back at about 200ng/dl (I converted it to U.S. measurements). Basically they passed the buck and said go and see an Endocrinologist but you wont get TRT because you are normal.
Anyway, I tried for 2 years to get it to no avail and finally, after doing some research, bit the bullet and sourced Sustanon 250 for a self administration exercise. My protocol is 125mg a week split into 2 doses of 62.5mg every 3.5 days.
The Results
After 3 weeks I have noticed the following effects:
- Almost immediately my energy came back...within about 1 week I had no run-down at the end of the day at all
- Brain fog has disappeared and my focus is sharp as a nail
- Starting to lose weight around my midsection and the exercise seems to be working all of a sudden
- My Blood pressure has gone from 135/90 to 115/79
- Slightly increased libido
- No anxiety
This is simply nuts and I can't believe what a difference this has made in my quality of life straight away! I've done some reading on the issue and it appears that people like me who respond almost immediately are likely candidates for something called Metabolic Syndrome.
Anyway, it's early days and i'll self order my bloods in about a weeks time when I hit the 1 month mark and see where i'm at and titrate up if needed.
Wish I found this a few years ago....because I feel great and no sides to date (except slightly oily skin).
