Based on what I'd learned in this subreddit, I directly asked the nurse practitioner at my local Low T Center today, "So, is it true that Low T Center owns the pharmacy you use, and that's why you won't write prescriptions for another pharmacy?". After a long sigh, she not only confirmed that this was true but she also went on a rant about how she doesn't trust that pharmacy and that they're a constant source of problems. In her words, "We won't write you a prescription for testosterone that you can take to another pharmacy, because if we did we'd be out of business. This is how we make our money." None of this is a surprise after folks were kind enough to share this information with me in discussions here, but thought I'd share the confirmation.
Only went in to renew my a-dex Rx (which, ironically, they sent to my local pharmacy). I now have a much more reliable and less expensive path forward.
