I've struggled with my mental health for most of my life, I remember having panic attacks in kindergarten. my BPD and Bipolar disorder are making my life really hard to deal with in a healthy way, I genuinely do think better long-term intensive treatment would help me but as far as I know there are no long-term residential treatment centers.
last time I was in a long-term treatment center, I experienced horrific things and left worse than when I went in. I can't have that happen again, I need to get better. due to how many times I was hospitalized in the past year, my social services worker has been suggesting places like trails Carolina or the village in Tennessee.
if anyone has any ideas for a serious treatment plan, I would love to hear it. I live in the Virginia/North Carolina/Tennessee area if that helps. I need help but I'm scared to be sent back to a place that will literally just torture me for the sake of "mental Health"
