Hello fellow Users! Let me start off by saying I love this community, and these movies and this is the main reason this is being done. With a fan release a while ago of a 4K upscaled and cleaned TRON Legacy, redone for HDR and all, and the demand for the original having a 4K release officially as well as legacy which have both been denied, I’ve taken it upon myself to purchase the necessary software to make my own attempt at this. For the first time, TRON will be released in two versions, both at 4K. The first will be an SDR original color accurate upscaling and cleaning, presented for those with non HDR equipment. The second, which will have a longer workable period will be an HDR color grade to accompany Legacy’s fan release. These will both be free for public download as long as you have any form of the movie purchased physically or digitally. Along with this, all of the special features and deleted scenes included on the US Blu Ray release will be upscaled and cleaned to the best of my ability as time permits. Estimated completion time of the SDR version stands at 1 Week if all goes well, so stay tuned! I will post photos of progress as I can.
