New member of this sub, so apologies if a similar question has already been asked.
One of my best friends has trich. She's avoided pulling her lashes out for months and has been doing really well, but after a super stressful situation recently, one thing led to another and she ended up relapsing and pulling them out again. She's also super anxious about reaching out, so I'm asking on her behalf.
Today, her eyelids have started to become swollen, sore and painful, and it hurts to blink. I wanted to find advice on pain relief for her, and ended up here. Neither of us knew this sub was a thing, and she didn't know it was this common, so maybe she can find some solidarity in that. Does anyone here have advice for easing/relieving the pain of pulling lashes out? A hot/cold wet rag, ice pack, etc
Ideas on keeping her hands busy to avoid pulling would also be very much appreciated. After telling her about some of the advice given here, she's gonna carry around a scrapbook to draw in, as she's previously turned to art for the same reason.
