Rolling over to your back to have a rest
Post Body

Hello, just starting out with swimming. Yesterday I just swam about 1km. But Every now and then I had to roll over to my back to control breathing. I’ve read that backstroke is not accepted in triathlons.

Is it common, to see people slow down, roll over and take a breather ? Or should I only practice with breast stroke breathers ?

I do not want to be disqualified, I also want to remain in control of my breathe on the swim. Any advice ?
