sorry for not the best flair and hopefully this is relevant here, my audience is mostly but not limited to people who were NOT an athlete or even fit-active in their teenage hood. those who were not a good runner, natural swimmer or biker and they have never had a plan to do such an event. Those who in million years did not believe in themselves to do a tri.
How doing a tri( any category) change your mentality in other aspects of your life? Did it give you a confidence in other things, such as improving your career, changing your dating standard, make your more comfortable in socializing? Did it change your perspective about your daily basis life, such as people you spend time with? did it change your standard in any aspects?
Was there any side effects which you found it difficult to cope with?
Did it give you this idea that " if I could do this, I can do many other things" and if so, were you able to accomplish something else?
You all had done something amazing, the effort behind this sport, no matter what category needs lots of mental and physicals strength and lots of sacrifices. I would like to know your stories.
