How to train for my first super sprint?

I have been dreaming of doing something ‘good/active’ for myself for some time. However, I get deterred because I have athletic induced asthma. I would love to do a super sprint triathlon at the end of summer this year. I am not out of shape visually but I am most definitely physically out of shape. I am looking for some training plans for a total noobie. Even if I don’t end up doing it, this year I would at least like to train my body to get into a physically better condition.

Ihave done light running/walking and biking throughout my life. I could pick up a road bike and bike 10-15 miles with ‘some’ effort at a reasonable pace ~10-12 mph consistently. I can also pick up and do a steady jog for 15 minutes but this seems like an area I need more help and practice with. My body hates and dreads running - assuming this is because I don’t do enough of it. Primarily looking for legit first timer super sprint training plans. Would take any training plans, encouragement, success stories, motivation.

For this lower intensity/shorter triathlon, is there a recommended nutrition diet I should follow during the training period? Do I need or should I get a wetsuit? Please throw me all beginner tips and recommendations.
