Increased texture?

So Tretinoin is supposed to give you that smooth glass skin. It's been 3 months and my skin texture has never been worse. It looks like an orange peel and my pores are huge. I still have CC's on my forehead. I don't use it everyday and always moisture and sunscreen. Maybe I'm being impatient but nothing much has improved except my acne a little.
