Is LRP Lipikar Balm too occlusive under tret?
Post Body

Hi all, I’ve been using tret from Curology for a little over a month now. I’m on .01% tret 2% azelaic acid, and 4% niacinamide. My next shipment will have .015% tret though. I’m using mainly for anti aging and very mild acne. I have enjoyed the very low dose, and even that has caused some peeling, dryness, and irritation. I have finally found a routine that seems to agree very well with my skin, it’s looking quite nice and even with hardly any irritation or peeling. Is the LRP Lipikar Balm too occlusive to apply before my tret? This routine works so well for my skin so I am worried to change it, but being as there is shea butter in this product I worry. Thanks for any advice!! Routine is:

AM Splash face with water

Very light layer of LRP Lipikar Balm AP on dry areas (face is still damp when I do this)

LRP Melt in Milk sunscreen spf 60

PM Clinique TTDO Cleansing balm Curology cleanser LRP Lipikar balm on damp face Aquaphor around nose and mouth Wait 30 minutes and apply tret Another light layer of LRP Lipikar balm
