I visited a new dermatologist for a Tretinoin prescription and I also mentioned Altreno 0.05% based on my research to the assistant. I was told I'd receive the prescription at my second visit. The only part I did not like of the initial visit was that I wasn't given the prescription.
Thus I returned to the dermatologist for the follow-up visit to receive my requested prescriptions instead derm recommended an over-the-counter retinol. I did not receive any prescription on the second visit. I had read on their previous visit notes Tretinoin helps with my skin concerns yet did not receive it.
