I just transferred over from Tretinoin Cream to the gel. With the cream, I would use neutrogena hydro boost water gel, Tretinoin, then CeraVe pm over it. With the gel, I can apply the first moisturizer, wait and apply gel, but that last layer of moisturizer will pill no matter if I wait or not. Any advice? Or how I should layer? Should I skip the last moisturizer? What product can u reccomend that won’t pill? Also I’m using CeraVe acne wash with saliyac acid, should I switch to a gentle cleanser because the alcohol in Tret gel is drying?
