why do i have these dark patches after months using tretinoin??

0.05 tretinoin and I mix it with azelaic acid every night, also Iām using snail mucin on top of that. I never forget to reapply sunscreen when I am outdoor. so why do I have these dark patches? my goal is trying to get rid of all hyperpigmentation but sadly I even got new ones
