Before starting this regime I had severe dandruff(like wtf kinda dandruff) so my doctor suggested we should get rid of dandruff first so I was on keto shampoo 2x/week and keto lotion hair mask 1x/week from Jan 22, 2022, to May 30, 2022.
Regime :
- from June 1, 2022, to July 31, 2022: 5% minoxidil 1x per day, DHT blocking shampoo every other day, occasional 2% keto shampoo and keto lotion hair mask, biotin gummies.
The shedding didn't stop so the doctor suggested making a few changes.
- From August 1, 2022 : 5% minoxidil 2x per day, derma rolling 0.5mm 1x per week, DHT blocking shampoo every other day, biotin gummies, occasional keto shampoo, and keto hair mask, vitamin D tabs 1x per day.
I can see a few changes but the shedding hasn't stopped. I'm losing about 70-90 strands of hair during hair wash.
Apart from the regime. I have changed my lifestyle a lot. I exercise regularly. I changed my diet and cut down all the junk food, Drinking a lot of water, and changed my sleep schedule.
Hair loss/Hair fall has been depressing and affecting my self-confidence a lot. Being an Indian I can't even discuss depression with my parents. 🥲
I'm thinking about using 0.1% fin and 5% min topical solution 2x per day instead of just 5% min.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
