I've been on 200mg Spiro for a few years. Running out of options...
I checked back into hair loss communities for the first time in a few years and saw a lot of women (both cisgender women with AGA and transgender women) extolling bica as the new craze. Saying it's safer than Spiro, easier on the liver/kidneys, and more targeted toward 'skin-level' androgens, which is ideal because I would like to keep my free T as much as possible while cutting off DHT. Females don't have much T to start with and I am absolutely nuking it for the sake of cosmetics
My endocrinologist, however, said it's too potent, has much more risks, and couldn't ethically be used in a woman my age (same with fin) and tried to scare me off by listing off a bunch of side effects that are just possible side effects of anything that lowers your T.
