For credibility purposes (plz donāt interpret as arrogance) I see my dermatologist at a world renowned hospital in the Midwest. If you google anything medical, a link to this hospital is almost always one of the top results. Anyways, Iāve experienced noticeable regrowth. Nothing compared to some of the top posts on this forum but regrowth nonetheless. My dermatologist was blown away. While he was examining my scalp with one of those fancy smancy microscope thingyās he shared that at 6 months I was in āthe 90th percentile responseā to finasteride. Again, regrowth but NOTHING crazy, only really noticeable to myself and under CLOSE examination. By no means am I trying to sound boastful. The biggest take away Iād like to share to give those reading hope: he went on to say that at 6 months he rarely sees noticeable improvement and that a good response at this time is a halt or decrease in hair shedding. Lastly, he shared that in his clinical experience regrowth from finasteride is MOST COMMONLY SEEN ONLY AFTER 12 - 18 MONTHS after starting finasteride. Donāt loose hope, donāt give up, and donāt compare yourselves to the insane results (great for those guys, will always be envious) seen on this page. Itās a marathon not a sprint brothers. Godspeed.
TLDR: Dermatologist from prominent US hospital shared that he typically doesnāt see regrowth from finasteride only until 12 - 18 months.
Your routine is only finastride 1mg daily ?
