Day 2 of DIY fin. I’m scared but hopeful. Does my plan seem reasonable?

After years of rejections for a finasteride prescription due to being a female of childbearing age, I bit the bullet and ordered it from France on AllDayChemist. This really freaks me out and I desperately didn’t want to turn to DIY but every doctor refuses to treat me so I don’t really have an option (because the FDA categorizes it as a pregnancy category X risk most doctors won’t give it to premenopausal women, no exceptions.)

I’m already on 200mg spiro and part of the reason I want to do this is so I can lower my spiro dosage, but I’m not sure by how much or when. Right now my plan is to take 1mg fin for a couple weeks and monitor sides. If all goes well then in a month or so I’ll increase the dosage. At around the 3-4 month mark when it’s built up in my body I’ll drop Spiro down to 100mg? I guess??

Some information online says women need a higher dose of fin, some says the opposite, and I am not sure how to navigate this. It’s usually prescribed at 2.5mg or even 5mg for women (if you’re among the blessed few who were able to find a doctor who sees you as more than a brood mare, lol) so it’s pretty unlikely I’ll get any results at 1mg. I need to figure out some kind of scheduled plan to ramp up my fin dosage and to lower my spiro dosage.
