I'm 21 (Asian) and was diagnosed with telogen efflevium. The trichologist offered a treatment but it's quite expensive so I was thinking to take minoxidil instead. Is it safe to use minoxidil? I am just more stressed out with my thinning hair and it usually is around more than a hundred hair falls per day. My pony tail wasn't that thick as it used to be, the trichologist says it's not MPB but the thinning affects both my sides, top, and back.
I was actually diagnosed November last year I think the hair fall lessened until this year but during March it started to get worse again maybe because of the 2 weeks fever that I experienced during the end of January.
Also the minoxidil here that is FDA aproved only comes with a spray, I know that more product doesn't equate to more efficacy so I'm not sure if how many spray is enough. Also I was thinking if transferring it to a bottle with a dropper can make me save money and use minoxidilmore effectively..
Sorry for the long post
