Those of you who have problems with Trello: what do other platforms do better?

Hello! I'm a newbie to Trello and Kanban organization in general. I have seen a fair few complaints here, so I'm wondering, what would you all say are the major problems with Trello, and what do other platforms do better? Since I'm just starting my journey here, I want to do things properly from the beginning so as to not have to redo all of my work.
