(shet mahaba habang post to) bale gusto kong gumawa ng smoke sesh discussing if aliens exist or not, prompt taken from a commenter's previous post (thank uuuu 🌿) and gusto ko ding malaman ano tingin niyo
may aliens ba sa mundo? yes and no, more specifically complicated yes and simple no —hindi yes, hindi no, it's actually an abstraction of both
nakakalito siya intindihin that way and our thinking is generally divided into the duality of something existing and something not existing — kung totoo ang isang bagay ibig sabihin hindi totoong walang bagay na ganun diba? well sa aliens at alien phenomena, that's not necessarily the case (not yet at least)
before i explain why, kailangan kong idefine yung meaning ng alien phenomena - basically, alien phenomena is the state of aliens' existence in humanity's entire existence, ibig sabihin, kung ipapasok ba natin ang pinaniniwalaan ng mga tao ages ago up to now, how will that impact our belief that aliens exist or not
kailangan ko ring idefine how alien phenomena is understood - attempts to understand alien phenomena are often tried via scientific method but, anomalies in the experiences and how personal the encounters are lack reasonable explanation BUT can be understood in paranormal (beyond normal) ways however it doesn't just exist in the scientific approach - oral tongue history, holy literatures, drug use via ritual, superstitions, urban legends, town legends, and other products of culture also have potential documentation of alien phenomena through allegory (kung nabasa mo previous sesh ko, basically parang yung Book of Revelation ganung type ng over the top, holy, psychedelic pagkkwento)
SO here's why, it's a complicated yes and a simple no that aliens exist:
Complicated yes muna, and ito yung main point ko na iisaisahin:
The modern global society is built on logic, runs using emotions based on sociocultural and religious traditions and political wealth funded with power, influence, and incompetence. If the existence of aliens contradicts ANY of the things there, then humanity will have a hard time accepting aliens
iisa isahin ko points ko sa sinabi ko kasi it is so convoluted na you can apply this to any issue we have now:
• is built on logic — this is a neutral point kasi, i am just stating here na we have a high level of intelligence and karamihan ng ginagawa natin ngayon are built by science (and wars, slavery, and resource competition but that's another story altogether) ..pero what that means ay logical ang construction ng society natin so it begs to let people think na dapat aliens definitely YES exist or definitely NO; absolute truths are comforting, maraming takot sa multo kasi hindi nila alam if totoo or hindi, maraming takot mamatay kasi hindi nila alam san sila pupunta after
• runs using emotions based on sociocultural and religious traditions — humans (particularly those in the ruling class that actually make the rules and govern the world...nasa last point ko to) are petty creatures inherently reliant on famines, poverty wars, economic distress, and disease to do their jobs for them in forming a society THEY want (Look up: Edward Said's Culture and Imperialism, or any recent wars and you'll understand what I mean) ..what do you think will happen to a humanity encountering all these problems tapos malalaman pa nilang aliens exist? that's some existential crisis waiting to happen lalo na if you factor in na masisira lahat ng religious institutions nila kasi for the longest time mali yung sinasabi ng religion or science or history nila (that's happening in reverse with flat earth lol pls no flat earthers pls read science)
• and, political wealth funded with power, influence, and incompetence — at the end of the day, we gotta involve these corrupt fucks, it sucks but there is really a certain network/families/lineage/royalty of people that control the outcome of what humanity believes in and what is safe to believe or not (i wont go into details about how they operate coz we are living it kaway kaway mga corpo slaves dyan haha) but what i mean by this is, policy making, advisory, media, political propaganda, research, technology, military ALL OF THESE can be controlled and manipulated — if one day ginusto nilang i acknowledge na may aliens sure they will and there are studies doing that more and more now (someone commented Jack Valee sa previous post ko and yes he is a wealthy person that actually tried to prove alien phenomena that the US gave grants for, search up skinwalker ranch)
ANYWAY, andami kong sinabi pero uulitin ko:
The modern global society is built on logic, runs using emotions based on sociocultural and religious traditions and political wealth funded with power, influence, and incompetence. If the existence of aliens contradicts ANY of the things there, then humanity will have a hard time accepting aliens
So YES is complicated because maybe humanity is not ready for it pa, particularly those that spent majority of their lives not believing in them (imagine letting your 95 year old religious lola meet and see an alien HAHAHA and before you think i m being unreasonable, just look at kung gaano katatanda na ang mga nasa US Congress right now and how divided, stubborn, and trapo they are in almost every issue, syempre may lokal version tayo niyan via JPE lol - capitalism is controlled by old dudes)
Here's the simple no:
If ayaw mong maniwala, hindi mo alam kung ano paniniwalaan, wala kang pake kung meron o wala, or you think it's waste of time, and you call bullshit on everyone telling otherwise, then aliens don't exist. Not until you're ready to accept that they do. There is disinformation out there: maraming gumagawa ng fake footages or benefiting now sa social media for clout. But, people who try to let these stuff out and be known back then (until now) weren't praised or became rich. They were censored and you should look at abduction cases regardless whether you think it's bullshit or not, people ~believe~ that they experienced this.
Reality is a matter of experience and most people want the experience of actually wanting to see a phenomena. (people do see paranormal phenomena ghosts, dwende, engkanto etc pero di nila kinoconsider na aliens and gusto ko iexplain yung relation nun but in another sesh nalang) Pero, what I mean is, not everyone can definitively say they encountered a phenomena, the government is actively keeping them for military purposes (but different story again) and quite frankly, not everyone cares. Our society implicitly keeps that in check by virtue of religion, technology, media, cultural values, traditions, entertainment, etc.
A good combination of people not caring, people not knowing, and people refusing to know (and refusing to discuss their thoughts on the topic and admitting they don't know anything) restricts humanity's curiosity to at least understand if there is any truth to it.
You choose what you believe. But be reasonable, don't hurt others in the process of knowing and defending your belief, and discuss to challenge your perspective. Kung sa tingin mo walang aliens, then cool, when you are ready to believe na meron then let's smoke sesh and g. If you believe tho, sabi nga ng isang celebrity competition show sa GMA before: dream, believe, survive, starstruck! Kapit lang makakasmoke sesh mo din mga aliens soon 🌿✨👽
(sabihan niyo nga ako kung pwede ko gawing podcast ito parang gusto ko irecord lol)
