Anyone get negative side effects to vaping?

I've tried using dry herb vapes in an attempt to be healthier, but I find that it can make me depressed and give me headaches.
I was hoping someone else had a similar experience and could recommend specific strains/terpene profiles that minimize these effects, because making the jump from joints to dry herb vaping is important to me. Also if this is just what vaping does to me then maybe I should rethink my long term consumption strategy.
