Third eye instruments inc Santa Barbara -Hot box device

So i had been at a thrift store and notice this box and inside of it was this device from this company third eye instruments and it had a label stating “hotbox” and it came with a old vintage thermometer has to be from at least the 70-80s i wasn’t sure if anyone had any info on said Device or the company itself I found a eBay listing saying it was used to measure thc but that’s the only thing on it even the guys who posted has no idea
