I went to visit my bestfriend and her boyfriend at their place, they are big smokers and he sells so they always have a surplus in supply. They wanted to make cake pop edibles and try out their new cannabutter making machine. So keep in mind we were smoking BEFORE and WHILE we were making the cake batter for the pops. At the time I thought they just put 10-13 grams in the batter, I just asked my bestfriend while I’m telling this story how much did they actually put in. Turns out is was a ounce worth of shake from a ridiculous amount of different strains (go figure) . When the cake finally came out it smelled so amazing and we all of course had the munchies at that point. I don’t think any of us registered at the moment that it wasn’t “regular” cake so each of us had TWO pretty DECENT size pieces of the cake and then we crumbled the rest for the cake pops. Eventually I made it home that night (luckily before the edibles kicked in, yes yes I know you shouldn’t smoke then drive whatever.) I was still supppper baked from smoking and by the time I got back to my place I think the edibles started to kick in. I just passed out and went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning.. I literally could not keep my eyes open to save my life. To this day I’ve never felt a high from weed that strong, If I didn’t know immediately that is was the two fat ass pieces of cake that I had I would have called 911 lol. No exaggeration I had to crawl from my room to my bathroom pull myself up on the toilet to use the bathroom. I’m going to spare you the full details of what happened in the bathroom lol but after that fiasco I tried to crawl back to my bed but I literally only made it to my hallway and passed back out on the ground with my pants halfway off I’m sure. I don’t think I woke up till a few hours later that day and was still high of my rocker lol. After that day I didn’t smoke or take any edibles for a good week and some change. The thought at that time just made me want to throw up all over again. lol when I think back to that day I just shake my head. “Over doing it” was a understatement lmao. P.S. just for understanding how strong that cake was ~ I took a cake pop home, when I did finally try it I literally only ate half of it and 30 minutes later I felt like I smoked 2 whole blunts. 🥴
