I recently found out I have a low T count. I'm a 34 year old white male. I started (regularly) smoking about 2 years ago. In the last year I've been experiencing hot flashes. Thought I was going crazy. I'm waiting on some follow-up labs to confirm the numbers. I haven't told my PC or endocrinologist that I smoke. I get medical treatment through the VA, so I didn't want to risk anything. (Not that I know of any definite bad things that will happen, if I should tell them). Just being cautious, I guess. Has anyone experienced low T counts in conjunction with pot use? I'm also on Venlafaxine (Effexor) and Pantoprazole, which could also be culprits. Anyone know of any clinical studies on this? I've seen some "studies" from the 80s, but they weren't clinical studies.
