I'm sure this is a cliche thing about smoking weed and how we sense time differently while smoking, but can someone attempt to explain it to me? Like why it happens or what's going on in technical terms?
I just stood at the microwave for like 5 minutes wondering about it. My pizza got cold. It just really hit me at a certain moment. When I drink and use the microwave, I'll often miss stopping the timer when right at 1. I'll be staring at the TV while I wait and it feels like only 30 seconds had passed when all of a sudden the timer set for 1 minute goes off.
Whereas when I smoke and microwave something, and do the same activity (watching TV) I constantly look over because I feel like the timer should've gone off by then. But in reality there's still like 40 seconds left on the timer. I'm doing the same activity and have a different sense of time depending on what I do. Sorry if I ended up rambling lol.
Edit: For real, it felt like it just took 25 minutes to write that but it really just took like 10-15 minutes. Although that's kind of long for a relatively small post I guess, isn't it?
