New to flower need advice on rolling

So I've been using my tube machine and filling them to make joints, but they're burning/canoeing like crazy. How can I get a slower burn? And if I tried rolling a blunt instead would just the added tobacco slow the burn enough to not be a waste?
-I've mostly just got experience with a dab cart, dab, & edibles. And maybe a bong like once so flower is totally new to me.
