Havent played since beta/a bit after beta, hows the game doing?

I don't know how many times this is said, but thought I should make a post since I kinda wanna know how the game has been doing recently. I sometimes have been on the reddit just to see how everything is and i always get the impression that there is a lot of negativity, is the game doing okay right now? And bad updates? Hows the population?
