Schwarzer Reiter builds?

With the latest change allowing you to go crossbow and pistol, I wanted to test out that class in the next CB. Using both pistol and bow skills seamlessly without having to swap all the time sounds like a lot of fun!
It seems like the best path would be to go some combo of archer/ranger, since many of the other classes have skills that can't be used when mounted. Can anyone recommend me a good build/path to use?
