Tincture made with Distillate

Can you make Tincture using ever clear and distillate? Wouldn’t that eliminate the wait and have a good strong tincture?
Will it melt easily with out heating up? I don’t want to waste any experimenting.
Anyone have a recipe if this is a good method?
