Long time lurker, first time poster. I’m about 2 years into my edible making journey! Made some pretty cool stuff. Last batch of tincture I attempted to make FECO, the website I was reading from said to let it evaporate fully and the residue would be the FECO. The yield was (obviously) very small but still packed a punch (I used about 28 grams of decarbed flower to 2 cups of alcohol). I’ve been reading more into it and apparently some people use heat to evaporate off most of the alcohol and that will leave you with (a bigger yield) and FECO. Is the heat method better? Should I use more flower? Any tips are appreciated.
