How to tell when darker weed is decarbed?

I’m going to decarb it in the oven at 140c/284f in a Pyrex measuring cup covered with Aluminium Foil.
The problem I have with it is, currently it is ground up enough but it’s black or really dark purple, is there a way to tell?
Edit: I put it in at 130/140c in the Pyrex Cup for 35 minutes, it decarbed pretty well. If I decide I want to mix it into food (a pie or hash brown), I’ll put it on for another 10 minutes at 140c.
