I think that utopia is going to be less rap more psychedelic type music. By this I don’t mean psychedelic rock, despite the claims Travis has made towards that. I think that it’ll be similar to the more out there songs on astroworld (skeletons, astrothunder, rip screw, etc). If you look at Travis’s solo discography he seemed to have slowly moved further from trap by album, until eventually, we had astroworld with almost half of the album being spacey and experimental. The other prediction I have is that the coverart will be designed by murakami. If you look at the graduation coverart you can see the murakami Jesus piece. It’s pretty easy to just assume that murakami has used this Jesus drawing a lot and it has no correlation to utopia. However, Travis’s Kanye inspiration is extremely present especially with the graduation influence on his very early mixtapes. The other small detail I noticed is that the utopia chain Travis wears has a bead like chain, which the graduation bear also has.
