What is the prevailing wisdom on generators and how to pick one that is a good fit for your travel trailer needs in 2022?
It seems clear to me from the research that I’ve done that Lithium battery solutions are not up to the task of full day heating nor cooling. While they are quiet, they seem more geared towards short and massive parallel consumption, like charging 5 phones, 4 iPads, running the mixer and keeping the LED lights on (if you plug the Rv service into it instead of plugging those things directly to it.) However 2 or 3 hours of AC/ Heat and the batteries are full dead even if they’re being charged during use.
Gas on the other hand has the same problems as always, mainly noise and pollution, but it also keeps the rv cooler or warmer as needed for the full duration of the night or day (given you have enough fuel on hand).
Do I have the right of it? Can you correct any of my misconceptions?
