Hello! I'm interning on organic farms through WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms), and looking for an adventurous new friend interested in going with me! Primarily because I don't have a car and thus need to leech off someone else! But also because it's fun to share experiences like this with people.

I'm presently on a friend's farm in south Washington County (I listed Mobile because it's the closest Big City lol), but planning to leave sometime around the end of June. I haven't decided on a destination yet but I'm thinking somewhere in Appalachia or the Piedmont area - perhaps Asheville.

What I'm interested in is someone who's either already planning to go the same direction, or just planning to go somewhere and interested in the region. You might even find the idea of WWOOFing interesting enough to join in the experience! Before we embark I will want to meet you in person and get to know you a bit to determine if our personalities mesh well enough, of course.

About me: I'm 25, male, and an extreme nerd who's into tons of different intellectual and artistic topics and endeavors. I have been told that I am like a walking encyclopedia lol, so you won't lack for conversation, and you'll probably learn a lot of stuff you didn't even know you were curious about :P My current obsession is learning about operations management, which is more interesting than it sounds like, but overall my life goal is to design technologies for decentralized collaboration and community self-organization to help people coordinate to actually solve problems instead of arguing about them on social media. :P

My ideal travel companion would be very emotionally stable, patient, relaxed, open to learning about new things and seeking new experiences, empathic, extraverted (I'm an extreme introvert and somebody has to help me escape my shell!), dependable and organized, and easy to get along with. Bonus points if you're an outdoorsy type, active and interested in fitness and health, as I need someone to help me improve on that front, go hiking or working out together, etc. It would also be really great if you're a hot gay or bi dude tbh :3 but I have no requirements on that front - who knows, maybe I'll end up wandering the country with a groovy grandma! :D
