First time going back to the UK from the US. Do I need a travel adapter that can transform 220v to 110v? Or is a cheap $9 adapter sufficient

Kinda confused by this.

I know coming from the UK we use superior 220v.

However all my stuff over in the US is 110v.

Do I need an adapter with a transformer? I'm worried about over volting my equipment.

All the travel adapters in looking at Amazon are cheap and $10 and appear to just adapt the connection straight.

I'm genuinely worried about breaking some things I charge.
