Do I use my old PreCheck number or my new PASSID?

Post Body

Hello,

I've had PreCheck for about a year, and today I was approved for Global Entry (but haven't gotten my card yet).

The Homeland Security site says I will have a PASSID that starts with 98xxxxxxx. Since PreCheck is a part of my GE membership, do I now HAVE TO use my PASSID instead of my PreCheck number? If I forget to change it on a travel site and still have my old PreCheck number, will that no longer be valid? Obviously, I want to change to my PASSID, I'm just not great at remembering all the places to change things

Also, the Global Entry website has my PASSID starting with something other than 98xxxxxxx. (I was just approved today) Will that change to a different number now that I've been approved; one that starts with 98xxxxxxx?

Thanks!
